Seemingly ordinary and plentiful, amongst cooking tripods, swing skillets and Dutch ovens, each with stories of their own to tell, there lies the all-important Kettle and Potjie or Belly Pot… 🫖

This Belly Pot was recently donated to the Worcestershire County collection. You can read the donor's reflections on "the day of emergence" on Research Worcestershire, our curator blog, this Gypsy, Roma and Traveller History Month. 🌱

Their memories were shared as part of the Atchin Tan Project ➡️ https://researchworcestershire.wordpress.com/2025/03/14/the-day-of-emergence/
