It's been a while, life has been very busy over that few months. A few holidays as I needed to sun on my skin. But I did get some wonderful photo inspiration.
Tonight I started this is pinks silver grey and cream. First base is down drying might add mica powder or some pale sage details for rocks we will see

When you have 4 paintings on the go since Xmas and you finally get around to finishing them and then u decided to start another while the others dry .
There is a lot of sport on TV again deep utter joy !

I have made a start in the llanstephan painting but I wanted a more abstract version so letting this dry and I'll come back when it's dry

Rugby season has started how totally amazing so expect a lot of painting
This week I started this I'm starting to mix some texture with the paint it now the worst but it awaiting for it to dry to get in to the next level and add depth and light and finish the sky

Today on the way home I took this photo of the sunset over the river- I then enhanced the colours .
I'm hoping to put paint and brush on to a canvas this weekend and paint this gorgeous sunset

Took the masking tape off so edges can seal. Tomorrow I need to add the fine art ink pen to do the reeds heads and the detail the bridge .so far I'm very happy and dried rather quicker than I expected.

Yesterday I played and sketched out in pencil and today I started the base colours and outline colours.
At least til wed now till I add Texture and detailing layer by layer

It's finished. I will glaze it next week when it's fully dry.
Not sure if I like it or not.
I find it very hard to move out of my comfort zone it has tested me I have to admit.
Anyway hope you all like !
