This 4 week course teaches batik as a fine art resulting in finished original items such as bags, scarves, wall hangings or fashion items.

These are small classes so book early to avoid disappointment.
( Dorothy recently exhibited her work in the Internationa Textile exhibition in Queen Street Gallery in Neath.
This work can now be seen in her gallery in Llandeilo she was the past rep for Wales for The Batik Guild.)

Simple printmaking at The Calon y Fferi Community Centre in Ferryside today.
Some beautiful results from a very simple process using polystyrene .
Last class next Tuesday 11 to 1pm.
Oil and cold wax paintings.. bring in a atmospheric picture of a landscape.
I shall then be running a free art class at the Calon y Fferi Community Centre Ferryside once a month, the first Tuesday of every month. Starting in May 11 to 1pm.

Nice weather !
I'm thinking of taking a party of art lovers out here in February or early March.. to This hotel..The Barracuda.. just like minded people who appreciate art and like to sketch, draw or just take photos..the added sunny weather helps.
This hotel is clean and reasonably priced, flying from Cardiff airport.
This is not a taught art lesson so I'm not teaching so you just pay for your own insurance, hotel and flight.
But we will share ideas and enjoy our time together.
