“Blue Horse explores the fragmented identity of the digital age. The work presents the Blue Horse not as an animal, but as a metaphor for hyperconnectivity a network that transports us at breakneck speeds while simultaneously tethering us to a state of “profound solitude.”

Through dehumanized figures and an aesthetic that merges the digital with the pictorial, denounces our transformation into colorful ghosts subjects who are functionally hyperconnected yet emotionally distant. The piece serves as a mirror of the modern condition, inviting us to reflect on whether, in the gallop of technological immediacy, we have lost our human essence and the true pulse of physical connection.”

Cameron tells us a little about the piece……

“This work draws on the visual language of classic Western cinema, filtered through the physical comedy of The Three Stooges and Mr. Bean - shows I grew up watching with my Papou. Their influence surfaces in the tension between drama and absurdity, where confrontation becomes performance and humour undercuts expectation.

At its centre, a cowboy confronts a figure disguised as a cactus, caught in a moment that feels both theatrical and playful. The “finger guns” gesture replaces violence with mimicry, transforming what could be a standoff into something closer to a game. This creates a sense of ambiguity - are we witnessing a duel, or a childlike game of hide-and-seek?

By blending nostalgia with surreal imagery, the painting explores how memory reshapes genre. The familiar tropes of the Western are softened, disrupted, and reimagined through humour, inviting the viewer to reconsider ideas of tension, identity, and play.”

(2026)

“Green sofa is inspired by the woman in the purple coat by Matisse. In this painting, we can see a woman who seems to be posing for an artist, as we can see the brush holder and some tubes of paint.
I also enjoy painting details like the warplane reflected in this same holder, which is also a reflection of what the woman is watching on TV. I really like to capture feelings of peace when the world outside is going mad and turbulent.” Words from Yann

Wickedly wild creation by our guy - as seen in our ‘Shhh’ group show

‘Super Neo 67’ (2026)

Acrylic on canvas, Custom made plywood/clay TV frame and controller sculpture, Electroluminescent wire and remote controlled LED light

45 × 38 × 7.5 cm (17 × 15 × 3 in)

Super Neo 67 explores a common thread shared across three generations shaped by the internet, examining how technology has reconfigured human culture and perception.

The internet, alongside the rapid expansion of AI, has become a hyperreality engine, where reality itself is replaced by hyperreal phenomena gone viral, such as the Gen Alpha ‘6–7’ meme and the growing trend of nostalgic escapism and anemoia experienced among Millennials and Gen Z.

Revisiting my own childhood experiences of the 90s retro gaming era and the haunted, lost futures of the Y2K aesthetic, this work aims to evoke a deeper spiritual inquiry into the question “what is real?” in contrast to the future we received, and serves as a precursor to my new series, ‘G is Real 3301’.

‘Liquid Shadows 048’ (2026) by .goce
Oil on Wood
106cm x 140cm (41”x 55”)

“Liquid Shadows 048’ is born from the friction between the analog and the digital. Starting from a captured street scene subjected to processes of technological distortion, this piece embodies the fast and fragile chaos of our hybrid present.

Through the synthesis of traditional oil painting and CNC woodcutting, I seek to expand the human gesture over the mechanical, transforming the rigidity of the support into a magnetic flow. It is a snapshot of a moment in constant change; a work that captures the rhythm of a world where nothing remains static.”
