From the Walled Garden to the Gift Shop! 🌿

From September, you’ll be able to find beautiful bouquets of dried Statice (also known as sea lavender) in the Gift Shop. Grown right here, each bouquet is carefully prepared by our Horticultural Supervisor, Fumiko.

Fumiko harvests the flowers from the Walled Garden before hanging them in the Old Tool Shed to naturally dry. Once they’re ready, these delicate blooms will make their way to the Gift Shop, where you can pick up a bouquet to brighten your home or give as a thoughtful gift to a friend or loved one. 💐

🎟️ Standard admission applies.

Ever stopped to admire the beautiful edimental displays in our Walled Garden and wondered who creates them? Well it's all down to Fumiko, our amazing Horticultural Supervisor! 💚

By mixing edible crops with ornamental plants, Fumiko creates displays that are not only beautiful but practical too. 🌸🥬 The best part? You can recreate the idea at home! Start small, get creative, and don't be afraid to experiment. Just remember: healthy soil = happy plants. 🌱
