On Sunday, it is the extra special Christmas Farmers market and
Craft Fair in Hartland. It is going to be a wonderful night, full of atmosphere and fun. I will be open too, until 8pm. Swing by for a glass of mulled wine and say hello.

I really enjoyed creating this 'thingy' for my advent Christmas window for the shop. I am no. 15, so lit it up last night. My dilemma is, should I have it with the window lights on as well or just the fairy lights?
If you get the chance to look around the village at night, it's lovely to see a new window lighting up each evening.

Ooo little brown cups, I am happy with these. Perfect for whisky by the fireside with a chunk of dark chocolate.

Hurrah!!!! All the little folk survived. Still just a tadd too hot to take out of the kiln, but they will definitely be ready now for the Kings Arms Craft fair.

It's nearly time, folks. The Calf St Pottery will be there along with many other craft stalls. Always a great night, lots of wonderful food and drink to be had, and a roaring fire while you shop.

All set up and raring to go. Just about to have a lovely coffee and cake!
So come on over to Holsworthy Sports Pavilion to the Blagdon Warf Farmshop Cafe 3pm until 7pm. Lots of great stalls.

I rarely get out and do craft fairs so I am looking forward to this one next Friday. Sure to be a few gifts to be found too if you are starting to have festive thoughts.

The old willow pattern blue is a timeless classic. So many people still have a bit of it floating around in the back of a kitchen cupboard. I have found over the years lots of fragments of it in the garden too, and they have a nice aged patina to them. This is a bit of a nod to them.

I am looking forward to joining "Chick's in the Sticks" on November 6th in Hartland. It's going to be an evening of bird making and merriment, I am sure.

I'm kicking around some new decoration on my stumpy vase form. My photography, though, does tend to add a little distortion of the shape but you can get the gist.

A big thank you to my dear friends Caroline and Lorna who manned the shop, house, garden, and Percy the cat for the last two weeks. It meant we could go off on a wonderful holiday. I have no photos of pots from France, but here are some of the smaller stuff we saw. Amongst all the "wow" around every corner, there were these little things. The " look at that" bits.

Two more photos from my sunny day meadowsweet photoshoot. I felt the need to see a sunny picture today as it is so wet and wild outside. On my walk yesterday, I did see some meadowsweet still hanging on in there.

So Carnival week in Hartland is off to a flying start. There is a full programme of events each night, ending with the grand procession on Saturday night.
