Having a clear out and came across this drawing I did a very long time ago, at a guess around 1983/4. Did this when the bike and rider, Eddie Lawson was on his way to becoming world 500cc champion. Yes I’m that old!

Photos from my workshop at St Anne's Arts & Community Centre today painting a snow scene in acrylics. A fun and challenging painting but everyone stepped up and produced some excellent results, well done all.

Finally found a little bit of time to finish this JMW Turner repro of the Slave ship (minus the gory bits) learnt a lot doing this. (Acrylics on 20x16” stretched canvas)

End of day 1 of my beginners stone carving course at St.Anne's Arts & Community Centre some amazing work today, the basic compositions are all in place ready for refining and finishing. looking forward seeing the finished pieces tomorrow.

Last day at the cabin ended early due to the torrential rain! Started the day painting a view of Peppercombe towards Westward Ho! from a photo I took on Friday from the coast path, couldn’t get the acrylics to dry properly so abandoned for a another day ☹️☔️
The red cliffs in my painting are actually painted with the red pigment from cliffs that I picked up on my Friday walk how cool is that!
