One of the great things about living in Clovelly is that we are treated to several maritime themed events throughout the year.
At last year’s annual Lifeboat Day, we were thrilled to see the William Cantrell Ashley moored at the Quay. She served the Clovelly Lifeboat Station from 1949 - 1968, launching 38 times and saving 24 lives.
Michael has been working on an oil painting of the historic Lifeboat which will be available in the gallery soon.
