[Participants] After completing an important chapter in Houston, a participant of our Job + J1 Visa Program reflects on an experience that went far beyond professional growth. From arriving as a designer adapting to American practice to taking on greater responsibility across major projects, the journey brought new challenges, skills and a deeper understanding of working within the US architecture industry.
The final days have also been about saying goodbye to a city that became home: revisiting familiar places, enjoying its unique culture and spending time with the people who made the experience meaningful. What began as an international professional opportunity ends with new perspectives, lasting connections and lessons that will continue to influence the way this participant approaches architecture and future challenges.
