INVITATION

Remote Studio Visit

I anledning af at vi viser Paul Cunningham på Enter Messen og Sune Staub Nielsens super artikel i Gastro – ”Kokken og Kunsten”.

Vil Paul og galleriet gerne invitere til et hyggeligt studio visit i galleriet.

Pauls værksted bliver rykket til Ørestaden, og det vil være muligt at møde Paul og få et dybere indblik i hans kunstneriske praksis.

Galleriet serverer te og kaffe, og det tegner til at blive en super hyggelig søndag i kunstens tegn.

Håber I har mulighed for at se forbi – og hvis ikke her, så har I stadig mulighed for at se Pauls værker her i weekenden og den kommende installation, vi viser på Enter Messen fra den 27. til den 30. august.

Christian Finne opens the walls of MAXUS101.
You are invited.

When Christian received the Danish Arts Foundation’s three-year working grant, the jury’s motivation read:

“Christian Finne’s art balances on the edge between a fluid, intangible, abstract universe and a firmly anchored web of rules and conceptual devices. The works emerge from his own journeys of the mind, seeking to capture and convey sensory impressions and experiences through an almost manic working process. Christian Finne shows a persistence in communicating his inner journeys and invites us into the new universe his works create. Here one finds a belief in painting’s seemingly endless capacity to convey the intangible.”

The exhibition marks the first collaboration between MAXUS101 and Christian Finne.

A short little try to explain my affection with the works of — this will not be the last try to explain and communicate what fascinates me about this artist.

More to come. But until then, enjoy the great art — a daily portion of poetry and a reminder of the greatness of us humans: the complicated, the beautiful and the ugly, love and loneliness, the feeling of being absolutely lost and of being at the right place at the right time. It’s art and it’s beautiful.
