🤩💐We are very grateful for the special and inspiring opening of our exhibition 'Libenský & Brychtová – Pioneers of Modern Glass Art.' 🥳🎉
Among the visitors were many connoisseurs of glass art who appreciated the significance of this exhibition, including even a member of the Corning Museum of Glass team , whom we were delighted to welcome.

🥳 Grand opening! 🤩 We are very excited to present works by the great Stanislav Libenský & Jaroslava Brychtová in our new special exhibition! They rank among the most important pioneers of modern glass sculpture and developed cast glass sculpture into an innovative, distinctive form of artistic expression. Light permeates and shapes her geometric glass sculptures. Experience this special selection of their masterpieces! You are cordially invited to the opening reception on Sunday, June 14th, from 2 pm to 5 pm! 💐

Peter Bremers is a truly unique artist at our Glass Museum. He places light at the center of his work, drawing on nature as a source of spiritual and artistic inspiration. 🗻💎 The Dutch artist has always traveled extensively, and his 2001 journey to Antarctica inspired an entire series: As you can see in the sculpture “Vatnajokull V.” (2023), he mimics the reflections of light in ice. Through the color gradient and surface texture, he perfectly imitates the vibrations, reflections, and ripples of water within the ice. For him, it is not just about beauty, but about processing profound experiences. ❄️
What appears so elegant requires a lengthy production process: Bremers works in a team and first creates models from construction foam panels, which he later translates into mold-cast glass.
