Alex R. Barracato G. photographs marginal places and unfinished architectures — human absence, traces left behind. Here, an abandoned wheel slowly swallowed by vegetation: a relic suspended between archaeology and nature.

Martina Mazzantini paints material transformation itself: growth, aggregation, dissolution. Forms emerge and vanish on the surface — painting as the site of existence’s precariousness.

Giulia Sica’s drawings are marked by cuts and gaps that expose fragility. In Sleeping (2026), a face tilts back in a space between sleep, dream, and surrender — echoing Renaissance iconography, stripped of narrative.

Asia Galeati connects memory and heritage through drawing, sculpture, and embroidery. In Scajôn — papier-mâché, gauze, raw h**p — a Romagna dialect word for a long-haired pig becomes a figure both fragile and affectionately caricatured.

5) Elena Vignoli, Untitled, 2025, acrylic on canvas, 72x77 cm

Daniele Chabonkin Cinquerrui blends hyperrealist painting with horror imagery: an oval portrait,caught between seduction and unease, captures a figure mid-metamorphosis.

Carolina Gelardi paints in acrylic and airbrush a fairy-tale Middle Ages, ladies, knights, and creatures suspended in collective memory, tales, and legend.

Giorgia Nunziata builds bodies as raw matter on unprimed canvas: earthy, magmatic tones for a physical, instinctive painting, always in formation.

Elena Vignoli merges painting, photography, and performance into fragile, surreal universes, where female figures dissolve into ornamental fabric, intimacy meeting openness to the other.

Emmanouela Bagkeri
Through memory, belonging, and autobiography, Emmanouela Bagkeri explores identity using hair as a fragile, bodily trace of lived experience. In Lilies (Prince of Lilies) (2025), inspired by the Minoan frescoes of Knossos, cotton and hair transform myth and personal memory into tangible matter.

Sofia Pedotti
Working across drawing, painting, photography, and performance, Sofia Pedotti creates images by removing charcoal from blackened surfaces, reversing the logic of photography. Light emerges from darkness, revealing suspended landscapes that oscillate between recognition and abstraction.

Beatrice Ricci
Beatrice Ricci combines painting, sculpture, installation, and sound, favouring wax, fabric, and silicone to create unsettling forms. In the exhibited work, a wax face and hands emerge from beneath a children’s blanket, where tenderness and dark humour merge into an uncanny vision.

Wen Suhan
Wen Suhan’s practice inhabits the threshold between human and animal, life and death. Creature No. 1 (2025), a papier-mâché sculpture, resembles the remains of an unknown organism, evoking transformation, disappearance, and imagined ecosystems.

Cristiano Tassinari
Philharmonie presents a copper fragment of Hans Scharoun’s Berlin Philharmonie as a secular relic. Detached from its architectural context, the iconic building becomes a collectible object, reflecting on monumentality, cultural power, and the transformation of public symbols into private possessions.

What remains when certainty dissolves?
Everything but the Truth brings together thirteen emerging artists whose practices navigate the unstable territory between memory, identity, imagination and lived experience. Developed through the workshop Tutto tranne la Verità at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna during the academic year 2024–2025, the exhibition arrives in Berlin as the culmination of an intensive process of artistic research and collective dialogue. Working across painting, sculpture, installation, drawing and mixed media, the participating artists investigate truth not as a fixed condition but as a mutable and contested space. Their works emerge from autobiographical narratives while engaging broader questions concerning representation, perception, intimacy and social experience.
Throughout the exhibition, bodies become archives, materials carry traces of memory, and images function as sites of projection. The works resist definitive interpretation, embracing ambiguity and contradiction as productive conditions through which meaning is continuously negotiated.
Rather than offering answers, Everything but the Truth proposes a space for attention and reflection. The exhibition invites visitors to consider how realities are constructed, remembered and imagined, and how personal experiences intersect with collective histories.
Presented at Almost There, an independent artist-run space in Berlin-Friedrichshain, the exhibition creates a platform for emerging voices and international exchange while fostering dialogue across disciplines, generations and cultural contexts.

Lacking the will to integrate or adapt, we pretend to enjoy unpredictable frustrations. The vague illusion of control dissolves somewhere in imaginary exile, and vulnerable optimism becomes a tool for easy laughter.
A compromise. A way to keep the peace and stay comfortable. Consent without conviction. Reconciliation without struggle. A gray zone built on the demand for “only good vibes.”

Suspended between hopelessness and excitement, we build a sandcastle out of an unstable reality. And still, we make plans. Life in a tent. Food cooked over a fire. Prayer, maybe... So we look into the panda’s idiotic eyes—a blank oracle. Maybe we’ll find an answer: why “Mein Hund ist arbeitslos und hat nur ein Auge”?

We live inside overlapping crises that reshape how we trust what comes next, and how we imagine the future. Certainty becomes rare, and the pressure to choose remains. Even when the future feels hard to picture, we are already knotted to it. It is not elsewhere: it is already here and happening, in what we choose, what we hold, and what we release. This is KNOT YET. The future is already now. What tells us it has begun?

KNOT names the bond. It ties us to what comes next, even when we do not fully feel it. YET names time that stays unfinished. It holds delay, possibility, and the fact that the future arrives before we are ready. KNOT YET is a constellation of an installation with scent and drawings. These elements act as keys to sense the future. The installation builds an airy and unpalpable field.

Scent is central to this work because it bypasses image and reaches the body directly. It changes how time is felt in a room, how memory appears, and how proximity becomes tangible.

Colors stay dreamy and light, sometimes close to disappearance. Perception depends on rhythm, distance, and time. Only at the end does colour concentrate and intensify, as a final shift that changes how the room is read.The work holds contact, transfer, and recombination. It is the moment where what was held apart can finally meet.
