Line as the whole language
Kate • Line & Abstract Tattoos works with a single weight of black: loops that wrap the arm like orbits, angular paths that run the length of the forearms, and one straight line down the centre of the torso. Dots and breaks act as punctuation. Everything is placed against the anatomy, so the body sets the composition.

Abstraction as a language of its own
SOUZA works in gesture, colour and line, with no subject to decode. Translucent washes bleed into dense black, a single line runs the length of the limb, and splashes and voids are left as they fall. His compositions are built around the body, following its curves, its tension and its stillness.

Siona Millicay

This work is in pure abstraction, where nothing is depicted and everything is felt. One long line falls the length of the arm like a plumb line, while dense black masses and translucent washes pull against each other. Fine, restless marks trace the hand’s movement like thought made visible.

Nothing here asks to be decoded. The composition follows the body: its curves, its tension, its stillness.

NEW RESIDENT ARTIST
ᴛᴜᴀɴᴀ ɴᴀᴜᴛ 𓁹

Tuana is a Berlin-based tattoo artist and multidisciplinary artist with over seven years of experience in tattooing.

Her tattoo practice is rooted in blackwork, combining bold black forms and strong contrasts with dotwork, distinctive red and orange accents, and small white dot details. Organic shapes, surreal elements and illustrative details come together to form a visual language that is expressive and recognizable.

With a background in Fashion Design and a creative practice that also extends into illustration, painting and ceramics, Tuana draws inspiration from different artistic disciplines. Each tattoo is individually designed with particular attention to composition, detail and the natural flow of the body.

Originally from Istanbul and now based in Berlin, she continues to develop and evolve her visual language through her work.
