Just arrive from Marc Baur “The Plum Tree” such a beautiful joyful piece. 48x36 available in The Gallery or online.

The Plum Tree

In my backyard stands a plum tree. It’s been there since before I bought my home. Today, I saw it for the first time.

The spiritual teacher Rajneesh writes of the mental barrier that keeps us from seeing the beauty of nature.

“Thoughts can create such a barrier that even if you are standing before a beautiful flower, you will not be able to see it. Your eyes are covered with layers of thought. To experience the beauty... you have to be silent, utterly silent, not even a flicker of thought—and the beauty explodes, reaches to you from all directions.” www.thegalleryatmatticksfarm.com
