The Beaumont was established in 2004 by artist Jude Kusnierz, as an open and supportive environment for a wide variety of creative professionals. Being a full-time professional artist for over a decade, Jude’s goal was to create a unique environment where artists, like herself, could work in a beautiful, safe, reasonably priced, positive and upbeat environment, a place that would offer the opportu

nity for growth, mentoring and cross-pollination of ideas and business. We exist to inspire and engage artists, designers, and creative small business owners with space, events and opportunities to work together, play together, share, learn, create and produce art and artistic projects and engage with the community around it. It is a place for the public to engage with art, learn from our artist community and appreciate creativity for what it brings to our lives. I can’t believe it’s already been 2 years since I opened MSEG STUDIOS🥹❤️ It all started with one paint night and I fell in love with teaching art and bringing creativity to the community. I wouldn’t be here without all of you. From day 1 to now, I hold so much love for everyone that has been part of my life and part of what I love to do most.

This year, I want to celebrate by bringing together my two favourite things - art and house music🎶 I’m so happy to have my favourite dj collectives in town Inner Tapes playing at this event 🥳 They bring some of the best house music to Vancouver with dj lineup EDU ISLA Diego Bernal and J Manuel Ramos ✨🔥

During the event, up to 30 artists will compete in a 1h art battle, each showcasing their style. There are 3 chances to win:

🥇 $100 for the audience vote
🥇$100 for my favourite painting
🥇$100 random draw winner

Non-competitors can come hang out, dance, do creative activities, meet new friends and watch the artists compete!

I can’t believe it’s been two years since I officially started MSEG STUDIOS! 🥹 This year I really want to celebrate and have a milestone to remember ❤️

I’ve always participated in art battles and I dreamed that one day I’d host my own. Well, this is the time!

We already have 15 artists lined up to paint with 1h timer! 3 winners will be announced with $100 prizes each. Come vote for your favourite and support local artists!

🎉MSEG Studios is turning 2! 🎉

Come celebrate two years of creativity, community, and art with a special Art Battle + Anniversary Party featuring live painting, DJs, creative activities, drinks, dancing, and good vibes all night long.
Whether you’re an artist ready to compete or simply looking for a fun night out with friends, everyone is welcome!

📆 Thursday Sep 3rd @ 7-11:30pm
📍 The Beaumont Studios | Creative Arts Hub | Vancouver

🖌️ THE ART BATTLE
At 8:00 PM, up to 30 selected artists will take over the space for one exciting 60-minute painting battle.
Every artist will receive:

🖼️ 16×20 canvas
🎨 Acrylic paints
🖌️ 3 paint brushes
🎨 All painting supplies provided

The theme? YOU choose!
Paint whatever you want, in whatever style you want.
Abstract, portrait, landscape, surrealism, animals, people, funky colours, something completely weird — it’s entirely up to you.

There’s just one rule:

🎨 COVER THE CANVAS!
Artists must substantially cover their canvas and actively participate throughout the battle in order to qualify for the Random Luck prize.

⏰ EVENT SCHEDULE
We’re making the competition fun for everyone by having three completely different ways to win!

🎲 RANDOM LUCK — $100
One winner will be randomly selected from all qualifying artists.
Everyone has an equal chance to win!

❤️ PEOPLE’S CHOICE — $100
Once the battle is over, the audience will vote for their favourite painting.

🏆 JUDGES’ CHOICE — $100
Owner’s favourite.

💰 TOTAL PRIZES: $300
Three different artists can walk away with $100 each!
