Toronto History Museums work collectively as 10 historic museums including: The Market Gallery, Colborne Lodge, Fort York National Historic Site, Gibson House Museum, Mackenzie House, Montgomery's Inn, Scarborough Museum, Spadina Museum, Todmorden

Mills Heritage Site, and Zion Schoolhouse. These museums work within a values framework of service, stewardship and commitment and are operated by the City of Toronto. These institutions maintain a leadership role in inspiring passion and understanding for Toronto, a diverse and vibrant city. Each building located throughout Toronto tells a unique story in ways that engage citizens and tourists alike. The museum curators are experts in their field and are able to explain in creative ways through tours, events, classes, workshops, school programs, camps, birthday parties and more about Toronto evolution. 🌿 Step into the Story of Biidaasige Park! The City’s Biidaasige Park Story Walks are on now through September 29 and you’re invited to join.

These guided walks bring the park to life through powerful stories of ecological restoration, Indigenous placekeeping, urban biodiversity and the ongoing transformation of Toronto’s waterfront. It’s a fresh way to experience one of the city’s newest green spaces through culture, environment and community. Learn more at toronto.ca/Biidaasige

Drop in tours:
📅 Mondays at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on the west side of the park (60 minute tour)
📅 Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on the east side of the park (75 - 90 minute tour)
🧭 Meet at Old Fire Hall 30 (39 Commissioners St.)

Tour is 100% outdoors with no indoor shelter along the path. Approx. 3 to 4 km of firm, crushed gravel path.

💲 Pay what you can (suggested contribution of $10 per adult)
🧢 Dress for the weather, wear sunscreen, pack water, bring a hat and wear comfy shoes.

Join the Mackenzie House team for the Black Culinary Culture in Early Toronto Neighbourhood Tour and discover the contributions of Black grocers, caterers, writers, and entrepreneurs to Toronto's food culture in the 1830s to 1860s.

The tour concludes at Mackenzie House with complimentary Trinidadian refreshments provided by Pelau Catering.
