Before the Museum became a landmark, it began as an idea shaped by light and an extraordinary artistic vision. ✨

On Tuesday, April 28, This Being Human opens a new season with a conversation that steps inside the world of architecture and the imagination behind the Museum itself. Thoughtful, intimate, and full of insight, the episode offers a rare glimpse into the creative eye of someone who helped shape one of the city’s most distinctive cultural spaces.

We’re pleased to share that Season 5 of the This Being Human podcast will be hosted by Mai Habib, a seasoned communications strategist and storyteller whose work spans broadcasting, public affairs, and strategic communications.

Bringing a thoughtful new perspective to the series, Mai will lead conversations with artists, thinkers, and collaborators connected to the Museum across 12 new episodes.

We’re proud to celebrate Marina Tabassum Architects, one of the winners of the 2025 Aga Khan Award for Architecture — Marina’s second AKAA.

Her project, Khudi Bari (“Tiny House”), is a modular, resilient structure addressing climate-driven displacement in Bangladesh. Light, adaptable, and affordable, it has been used as flood shelters, community hubs, and women farmers’ centres.

Marina was a guest of Season 3, Episode 21 of the podcast, where she spoke about working with local materials, the landscape of Dhaka, and designing $200 mobile houses to confront climate change.
