At Cape Breton Centre for Craft & Design's Gallery Shop, every single item is handmade right here on Unama'ki Cape Breton Island. We have everything from jewellery, pottery and knitwear, to wood and glass products, visual art, textiles, body care products, and lots more.

-Passionate craftspeople ready to step into teaching and share their expertise

Join us for a FREE Kids Collaborative Drawing Workshop with Alison Uhma on Saturday, September 12 🎨

Inspired by A Shared Pulse, curated by Kelsey Watson, participants (ages 7+) will explore the exhibition and create a collaborative drawing in response to the artwork.

Through observation and discussion, children will consider lines, patterns, movement, rhythm, and the connections that run throughout the exhibition. Together, they’ll contribute to a shared artwork while exploring themes of flow and interconnectedness.
