A quick spin around the Summer Exhibition before it’s rehung next week!

As artworks sell, we are constantly tweaking the installation, filling gaps as necessary, but there comes a time when we have to do a complete reinstallation. Stop by this weekend to see these pieces before they’re gone! We’re open today until 5pm and tomorrow 11am to 2pm, then closed Monday & Tuesday.

We look forward to welcoming you back and sharing lots of fabulous new art by the 30 exhibiting artists on Wednesday @ 11am!🤩

Look who stopped by the gallery today 🤩 Our very own Mayor Martin Ritsma! Had a lovely chat about the visual arts in Stratford and the many talented artists in our community. Here he is in front of his 3 favourite artworks in our Summer Exhibition (he couldn’t pick just one!). They are:

Eva McCauley’s “Splendid Isolation (Sun and Fog)”, oil mixed media on birch panel, 12x12 inches, $900
Tony Urquhart’s “Wellesley” 1995, ink, gouache & coloured pencil on green paper, 13 x 13.5 inches framed, $950
Ed Cjajkowski’s “Tower”, glass assemblage, 23.5 inches high, $300

If you’re in Stratford this weekend, check out our 13th Annual Summer Exhibition: modelled on the Royal Academy in London’s popular Summer Exhibition, the show includes a delightful and varied range of art by gallery artists and others with a strong association with Stratford. The exhibition features work by 30 Stratford artists in a range of media and will change throughout the summer: as pieces are sold new ones will be put on display, so visit often!

The Summer Exhibition is on display until September 5. Agora Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 5pm & Sunday 11am to 2pm (closed Monday).

Thanks to everyone who joined us for the opening of the Summer Exhibition last night! As always, it was a fun celebration of Stratford’s unique and dynamic creative community, where artists and art-lovers mingled surrounded by beautiful art 🤩

The exhibition, which features a wide variety of work by 30 artists with a strong connection to Stratford, will change throughout the summer - as pieces are sold, new ones will be put on display, so visit often! The Summer Exhibition closes on Saturday, September 5. Agora Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday 11am to 5pm & Sunday 11am to 2pm.
