Our Feature Window artist for the next several weeks is Mary Anne Dente with this new painting, "Morning on the Rocks". It is a 24 x 24" oil on cradled panel with vivid colour that highlights the beauty of the Canadian shield. It is one of three landscapes by Mary Anne in the window with others inside. We are open Wednesday to Saturday 10:00 to 4:00 and Sunday 11:00 to 3:00. Drop in to see more work by Mary Anne and work by all of our other very talented artists and craftspeople.

Two of four new pastels that Walter Pick brought in recently and a beautiful 24 x 36", "Last Light on Pittock Lake", acrylic on canvas. Beat the heat this Saturday July 4th by joining us in our climate controlled gallery to meet the artist, Denise Nonomura and jeweller, Jennifer Hepburn. We are opening a show of new landscape pastels by Denise, "Land and Sky-Escapes in Pastel" and Jennifer will be showing some of her beautiful handcrafted sterling and semi precious stone jewellery that we haven't shown before. Jennifer will be on hand from 12:30 to 3:30 and Denise will be with us from 1:00 to 3:00. A Message from David Sharpe's Family

To David's faithful followers and beloved friends, a message from his wife and children: We are extremely sad to say that David passed away on Friday, June 19, surrounded by love and paintings. Sharing this online space with you was such an important part of his life, one that brought him more joy than you may know. While his views from the studio, photos, artistic musings, quotes, Friday Fuchs, and Sunday Seagos brought levity, he also shared the difficult roller coaster of his pancreatic cancer journey, and your support truly made him feel like he had an army of cheerleaders over the years. His Facebook account was chock full of people from his past and present: Colleagues, old acquaintances, dear friends, and family—but also artists and creators from all over the world. He appreciated all of you so much.
