Warning ❗❗❗

We have been made aware of a recent surge of scam messages claiming to be from the SCC, using the name of our staff members, pretending to be affiliated with Craft Is ... Fine Craft Market, and even requesting artist fees be paid via etransfer. We urge you to be cautious as these types of phishing attempts are not uncommon!

Please note that Saskatchewan Craft Council staff only use email addresses that end with ".org" and if you're ever concerned about the authenticity of a message, you're welcome to call or email us directly to double check. Find our legitimate contact information here: saskcraftcouncil.org/contact-us

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do to stop this type of spam content, since it's not coming from our official accounts. We have heard from other event organizers, businesses, and community groups that this is a very common problem.

Please note that the SCC often hosts forms through JotForm and AirTable, so you may receive auto-responses from these platforms if you submitted an application form or survey. The links to official application forms will always be available via our website, so if you're not sure the form you're looking at is the real deal, visit saskcraftcouncil.org to find out.

Thank you to those who reached out to let us know. Be careful out there!

This September the SCC will host "Like a Rolling Stone — Habitat" by Heike Fink.

This exhibition transforms space with hand-felted rocks, sculptural wildlife, botanical forms, and textile wall works. Through a central, immersive, interactive installation, Heike Fink invites visitors to shape an evolving riverscape while reflecting on our shared relationship with nature, our connection to resilience, and think on the stories embedded in the land.
Opening September 05, 2026 at the Saskatchewan Craft Council Gallery.
