On now! And please join us for the reception today at 4:30pm.

Sight Site
April 9 – 16, 2026
Reception: Thursday April 9, 4:30 – 6:00pm @ Museum of Natural Sciences

Sight Site presents sculptural responses to the displays, artworks, and artefacts found at the University of Saskatchewan Museum of Antiquities and Museum of Natural Sciences. Showcasing artwork by Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and senior Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) students from the School for the Arts Senior Sculpture class, the artists created site-specific works that investigate, interact with, respond to, poke at, and converse with the two museums’ exhibits, sometimes with humour (because we need more of that these days!). The interventions engage with the existing exhibits to create dialogues between the art and museums’ collections. In doing so, the artwork creates new meaning and stories within each museum, and perhaps connections between the two sights/sites.

Participating Artists:
Jensen Canfield, BFA student
Shona Dietz, MFA student
Maryanna Hardy, BFA student
Kim Kargut, BFA student
Christie Keller, BFA student, BA Psychology
Jaye Kovach, MFA student
Amand May, BFA student
Ryan Richard, BFA student
David Sanscartier, BFA student, P.Eng., Ph.D.
Ella Zentner, BFA student

Organized by:
Ella Dawn McGeough, Sculpture Area Chair, School for the Arts
Tracene Harvey, Director/Curator, Museum of Antiquities
Erica Bird, Manager, Museum of Natural Sciences
