Meet the artist ‼️

Hi, my name is Emily and I started painting when I was 2. I have always loved art and try to keep at it in my spare time. During the COVID pandemic I started painting album covers for friends and have continued to do customs since then. Primarily I use acrylic paint, but I also really enjoy making digital art, and in the past year have been doing graphic design for a climate change organization. I love creating art and look forward to sharing it with more people.

Welcome to The Art Assembly, Emily!

Meet the artist ‼️

Daryl is a finish carpenter based out of Black River New Brunswick who works in leftover pieces of hardwood, OSB, MDF, and pine. If it can be cut, sanded, routed and/or painted...it’s fair game.
He uses art as a mental break from the demands of trying to be an award-winning zucchini farmer, a benevolent fantasy football commissioner, and a reliable provider for his backyard birds. If one person gets joy from a piece that he does, that’s more than enough for him.

Welcome to The Art Assembly, Daryl!

Meet The Artist‼️

Marie is a self-taught oil painter from Fredericton, New Brunswick, who specializes in plein air painting, while equally maintaining an active studio practice. She is heavily influenced by alla prima techniques from 19th-century masters, along with the expressive work of contemporary artists, and aims to combine these inspirations into her own unique style. Her paintings are delicately observed, with an emphasis on colour, light, and atmosphere.

Welcome to The Art Assembly, Marie!
