The time has come again to gear up for our annual 50/50 event, and this is our call for participating artists!

This year’s event includes our traditional 50/50 art draw, plus a community-generated art installation of “Play Money”, a fabulous raffle, door prizes, food and drink, live entertainment, and more!

If you’re a member with up to three artworks to contribute, we’re seeking those valued at $50 or more this year.

We welcome your artwork: hangable, wearable, readable, touchable, painting, sculpture, photography, ‘zines & broadsides, jewellery, flower arrangements, soundscapes, QR codes to adventures, and more.

This is your chance to contribute something modest for art collectors, appreciators, and community members to take home. Art purchases support the contributing artists and Artspace ... 50/50.

The ongoing work of decolonization and reconciliation is not limited to a single day. However, we are closed today for Orange Shirt Day (National Day of Truth & Reconciliation) to encourage everyone to open their hearts to the change that builds right relations with our Indigenous community through the arts and in all aspects of our lives.

Artspace and Art Factory are closed today to allow staff and volunteers to attend our local Pride Parade and Mnoominkewin Gathering in Curve Lake.

We also plan to be closed on Sep 30 for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We'll resume our usual schedule on Thu, Oct 1, 12-6 PM
