S.S. Sicamous Marine Heritage Society The S.S. Sicamous Marine Heritage Society works to protect and preserve the SS Sicamous & other ships It is a unique part of Okanagan history and heritage.

The SS Sicamous is a luxury passenger vessel that was used to transport passengers and cargo to remote communities along the shores of Okanagan Lake. The ship was launched in 1914 from the Okanagan Landing Shipyards, at the north of the lake. The Sicamous travelled from Penticton to Okanagan Landing with 14 scheduled stops throughout. Her luxury and beauty attracted crowds at each dock, while trav

ellers experienced elegance in dining and service renowned by Canadian Pacific. The ship is a now preserved on the shore of Okanagan Lake, and is cared for by the SS Sicamous Marine Heritage Society.

Why? TONIGHT is our AGM!
Everyone is welcome to attend but only members in good standing can vote!
Doors open at 4:30pm, the AGM itself starts at 5pm.

Sorry for the inconvenience to anyone wanting to visit the Sicamous today.
However, we will be open tomorrow, Sunday June 21st, with our normal hours of 10am to 4pm!
And we are inching closer to July where we will be open 7 days a week!

The SS Sicamous is OPEN TODAY!
BUT it will only be open from 1pm to 4pm today
AND then 10am to 1pm tomorrow (Friday), as we have a large school tours coming through in the mornings!
ALSO we are closed on Saturday for a wedding!

Sorry for the inconvenience!
HOWEVER on Sunday the 21st, we will be open for our regular hours of 10am to 4pm!
PLUS we are getting closer to July, when we will be open 7 days a week!
