Penhold Town Council Regular Council meeting will be held tonight, Tuesday October 13, 2026.

Town Council meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and are open to the public to attend in person OR via livestream. If you have any questions for Council, this is an opportunity to present them. Follow the link on the Town's website to access this evening's Regular Council Meeting.

If you've been a vendor at a Penhold Museum market, or you've asked us to let you know about this one. The holidays are just around the corner, and we would love to have you join us at the Penhold Community Christmas Market!

Event Details

Date: Friday, November 20, 2026
Time: 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. (setup starts at 3:00 p.m.)
Location: Penhold Multiplex gym, 1 Waskasoo Avenue (indoors, warm and cozy!)
Booths: 10' x 6' for $45, or 12' x 6' for $50 (limited availability)
Free space for community groups!
Payment: By e-Transfer once you're accepted
Good to Know

You'll receive floor space, so please bring your own tables, table coverings and displays. The Town of Penhold will provide 2 chairs per booth.
Power is available for a limited number of booths by request.
Wi-Fi is available onsite for your card readers.
The Little Shoppers Market is back!

Our helpful elves will be guiding kids as they shop for Christmas gifts for their families. We'd love for every vendor to contribute a few non-breakable items. This is not a donation; the items will be sold for you. Items must be priced at exactly $5 or $10. It's one of the sweetest parts of the evening!

The deadline to apply is October 26, and you'll hear about your acceptance by November 1. You'll find the full vendor rules linked in the application form.

Have you ever wanted to get behind the scenes at RCAF Station Penhold?

The Penhold Log was published locally by the base soldiers and commanding officers beginning in 1941, and chronicles the news and activities at the station. The magazine included editorials, short stories and poems, humorous cartoons, reports on social activities and sports, listings for the upcoming films at the base cinema, and later issues even included photographs. Supported by ads for local Red Deer and area businesses, we are also given a glimpse into the connections between the base and the wider community – and got an idea of where the best local spot to get a soda was!
