THE ART GALLERY osoyoos "A Community Gallery for Creative People" It was established in the 1990s and is a non-profit organization run primarily by volunteers. to 3:00 p.m.

THE ART GALLERY osoyoos is situated in Osoyoos, one of the most unique and beautiful towns in the Okanagan Valley, and offers only original art produced by local artists and artisans. The Art Gallery operates under the umbrella of the Osoyoos & District Arts Council; and is supported by the Arts Council and the Town of Osoyoos. The Gallery seeks to promote and encourage a wide variety of art endea

vors, and to provide an outlet for area artisans to display and sell their works. As well the Gallery the Osoyoos Arts Centre building houses Studio 89 for painters and the Pottery Shop Studio for potters. The Gallery Curator and Assistant Curator are unpaid volunteers, and the Gallery is staffed also by volunteers, except for July and August when a paid sitter is employed for 5 days per week and unpaid volunteer for 2 days per; week. There is no admission charge at the Gallery. Summer show hours 10:00 a.m. Sunday thru Friday inclusive, Saturday 9:00 am to 3 pm

The First Friday ART WALK is back on Friday, June 5th with more events for everyone to enjoy!

Added to our list of host venues, visit the 85th Street Plaza for unique Pop-Up stops hosted by the Osoyoos and District Arts Council featuring the Osoyoos Potters, the Osoyoos Quilters and the Rock Creek Fall Fair.

Live music will be provided by 'Nightgirl & UR Love' from 4:30pm to 6:30pm in the 85th Street Plaza.

'The Colour of Shadows' featuring Kelowna based watercolour artist Heather Hollingsworth.

Gallery hours are Monday to Saturday 10am to 3pm.

Okanagan Artist Heather Hollingsworth opens a show at The Art Gallery Osoyoos (TAGO) on Wednesday, May 27. The show titled, ‘The Colour of Shadows’ runs until Saturday, June 20.

Today is the First Friday ART WALK in downtown Osoyoos!

The Art Gallery will be hosting our opening reception for our featured artists Myra Hammond and Wendy Provins. Both artists will be in attendance.

Events start at 4pm to 7pm with 9 participating venues. Enjoy an evening of art, culture and music as you wander down Main Street and take in all of the free events. Everyone welcome!

Join us Friday, May 1st for the First Friday Art Walk in downtown Osoyoos. FREE events will be taking place at the participating venues from 4pm to 7pm.

This month and throughout the summer, we will be adding additional music events to some of our host venues. Enjoy the country folk rock of musician 'Mike Robitaille' out front of Wayside Books and Century 21 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm and then visit Backyard Brewing between 6:30pm to 8:30pm to catch musician 'Mick James'.

With nine participating venues featuring art, cultural and music events, there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy. We hope to see you there!

The Art Gallery Osoyoos welcomes Keremeos based artists Wendy Provins and Myra Hammond to the gallery this month. Their show entitled 'Here, There and Everywhere' features a collection of acrylic and mixed media paintings, jewelry and greeting cards that showcase their unique styles.
