THE ART GALLERY osoyoos "A Community Gallery for Creative People" It was established in the 1990s and is a non-profit organization run primarily by volunteers. to 3:00 p.m.

THE ART GALLERY osoyoos is situated in Osoyoos, one of the most unique and beautiful towns in the Okanagan Valley, and offers only original art produced by local artists and artisans. The Art Gallery operates under the umbrella of the Osoyoos & District Arts Council; and is supported by the Arts Council and the Town of Osoyoos. The Gallery seeks to promote and encourage a wide variety of art endea

vors, and to provide an outlet for area artisans to display and sell their works. As well the Gallery the Osoyoos Arts Centre building houses Studio 89 for painters and the Pottery Shop Studio for potters. The Gallery Curator and Assistant Curator are unpaid volunteers, and the Gallery is staffed also by volunteers, except for July and August when a paid sitter is employed for 5 days per week and unpaid volunteer for 2 days per; week. There is no admission charge at the Gallery. Summer show hours 10:00 a.m. Sunday thru Friday inclusive, Saturday 9:00 am to 3 pm

LAST DAY! Monday August 31st
The Summer Artisan Market will be closing on Monday, August 31st. It's also your last chance to purchase tickets for our Artist painted wine barrel. The drawer for the winning ticket will take place at 2pm at the Art Gallery. Gallery open from 10am to 3pm.

We will be closed Tuesday, September 1st and Wednesday, September 2nd as we set up for our new show 'Vertically Challenged' by the fibre artists 'The Fabricators'. New show opens Thursday, September 3rd at 10am.

Don't miss the Summer Artisan Market now in it's last week at the Art Gallery. This year, we have enjoyed hosting 40 local artists and artisans. Stop by and browse our unique selection of items and remember to purchase your tickets for our artist painted wine barrel. LAST 2 WEEKS of the Summer Artisan Market!

If you haven't stopped by yet or simply want to visit again, now is the time. The Summer Artisan Market closes on Monday, August 31st. Featuring unique items from over 30 local artists and artisans, there is something for everyone.

Also, don't forget to purchase your $2 tickets for a chance to win the Artist painted wine barrel. Draw date is August 31st.

Open daily from 10am to 3pm. Located under the blue awning at the Town Hall Centre.

Don't miss our indoor First Friday stops tonight from 4pm to 7pm. A free night of events as you visit each of our Art Walk locations for a unique experience. Note the venue change for Music In the Park this evening. Make the Sonora Centre your last stop on the walk and enjoy an evening of Motown classics.

MUSIC IN THE PARK UPDATE:
Due to poor air quality, the Project 9 concert tonight Friday August 7th will be indoors at the SONORA COMMUNITY CENTRE 8505 68th Ave in Osoyoos.
6:30 - 8:30 pm. Chairs provided.

It's the First Friday Art Walk on Friday, August 7th from 4pm to 7pm in downtown Osoyoos.

Don't miss stopping by all our venues to see what's new and mingle with artists, locals and visitors.

Enjoy music by Mick James at the Osoyoos Museum from 4:30pm to 6:30pm. Afterwards, enjoy the free Music In The Park concert at Gyro Park featuring 'Project 9' playing Motown classics.

WOW! Lots going on at the Art Gallery in the coming weeks.

Join us on Saturday, August 1st from 10am to 1pm for our annual Fundraising BBQ. Hotdogs by donation, 50/50 draw and wine barrel draw tickets. You can also view all of the artist painted wine barrels for sale on the front lawn of the art gallery. Come out and show your support for our community art gallery.

We will also be displaying all of our painted wine barrels at the Osoyoos Farmer's Market on Saturday, July 25th and Saturday, August 15th from 9am to 1pm. Come out and view these and purchase your $2 raffle ticket for our selected Wine Barrel painted by Cawston artist Trish Croal.
