The Montreal Art Center and Museum is a not for profit supporting visual and performing artists.

The Montreal Art Centre and Museum hosts a community of local artists creating and exhibiting their works in a historic 19th century patromonial building, located at 1844 William Street in the Griffintown district of Montreal. There are Art Galleries and exhibition spaces featuring a spectacular Permenant Collection of International master artworks, along with the works of the member artists. An i

ntimate 15 seat VIP Cinema, different lounges and bars along with Historic Wax Figures of Quebec Founders in a Nouvelle France Gallery and a Baroque Room await you! A visit to the Montreal Art Center and Museum is taking a step back in time to the 19th century!

Bio:
Frédéric Borys is an emerging multidisciplinary artist whose work blends surrealism, mixed media, and large-scale composition. Deeply influenced by Salvador Dalí, he explores imagination, emotion, and the boundaries between reality and the surreal.
After returning fully to his artistic practice in 2025, Borys developed a bold visual language that is both controlled and instinctive, inviting viewers into immersive works that reconnect with human presence, emotion, and the tangible world.

Artiste autodidacte à l'huile et acrylique. Étude aux Beaux-Arts de Montréal 1951-52-53 en dessin au fusain et au pastel. Thèmes des tableaux: paysages, fleurs, personnages, animaux, oiseaux; j'aime diversifier afin d'éviter la routine d'un seul thème. Récipiendaire de plusieurs prix du public lors d'expositions de groupe. Plusieurs Solos avec succès au Québec dont le Jardin botanique de Montréal, au Foyer de la Salle de spectacle André Mathieu ainsi qu'à Galerie France Martin Mtl. et ailleurs; aussi aux États-Unis dont 3 à Whashington DC. 1991-92-93. J'aime la beauté et je veux l'immortaliser dans tous les sujets de mes oeuvres.
Mon travail reflète la joie de vivre.

Manon Lebel, Artiste d'art de soudure sur verre

Découvrez un art unique né de la passion et de la persévérance : après plusieurs années d'essais et d'erreurs, l'artiste Manon Lebel a mis au point un procédé inédit de soudure sur verre qui allie finesse du dessin et puissance du métal.

Sur une vitre servant de toile, elle applique une feuille de cuivre où naît un motif, minutieusement découpé à l'exacto. À cette base délicate s'ajoute la soudure à l'étain/plomb, déposée avec maîtrise pour créer des jeux de reliefs saisissants. Une fois l'œuvre achevée, elle est protégée par un vernis, puis fixée au silicone dans un cadre en pin, pouvant être insérée dans un encadrement sur mesure ou simplement exposée telle quelle.

Chaque pièce est le fruit d'une technique exclusive et d'un savoir-faire forgé avec passion.

Bio:
Born and raised in Beirut, and now resident in Montreal, Tarek has a passion for his Beirut streets and corniche. He walks around the city, capturing photos, then spends time painting them.

An engineer in learning and occupation, Tarek is fascinated with painting as a medium of expression. He participated in multiple international art workshops with leading landscape masters. His current production of more than 150 paintings revolve about the Beirut cityscape in watercolor, with an impressionist style that focuses on values and light and shadow plays.

Tarek has a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Boston University and an MBA from the American University of Beirut.

Jocelyne Duchesne, peintre et sculpteure - aluminium, bronze. Elle vit de son art et travaille à Trois-Rivières, Qc, Canada. Ses tableaux ont été exposés au Québec et au Sénégal. Ils ont fait la couverture de livres de science et de poésie. Ses sculptures se retrouvent dans plusieurs pays transformateurs d'aluminium, Canada, Europe, États-Unis, Amérique du Sud. Elle a exposé dans le cadre de plusieurs Festival international de la poésie depuis 1990, à Trois-Rivières et Dakar.
Duchesne explore son monde intérieur de façon instinctive, portée par les harmoniques colorées de la matière, dont l’ensemble dépose des empreintes émotionnelles invitant à suspendre le temps et à entrer dans un espace où la paix demeure.
