CONGRATULATIONS to the Echavarria family — winners of our first-ever Celebrate Water! Passport Adventure! 🎉💧

Every summer, the Echavarria family chooses a new place to visit together. This year, that place was Midland! 💙

Their first day in town was a drizzly one, so they asked the front desk at the Hampton Inn where they were staying for suggestions on what to do. As one of our Passport Adventure sponsors and stops, the Hampton Inn had the perfect recommendation: start your Celebrate Water! adventure!

And they did! Over the course of their stay, the family visited passport stops, participated in activities, and collected passport stickers along the way.

Out of hundreds of ballots, they won! 🎉

Yesterday, they picked up their prize — and it sounds like their Midland adventure is continuing!

The Canadian Museum of Water is coming to the library for an exciting event filled with water-themed fun! 🐳💦

Join us for hands-on activities that spark creativity, explore sustainability, and help us discover just how important water is in our everyday lives.

Come ready to learn, create, explore, and make a splash! 💧🌎✨

Registration opens on Friday, August 14th at 12 PM, please email, call or stop in after that to save your spots. The kids must also be registered for our Summer Reading Club to register for this event. But don't worry it's free and easy to sign up - just stop in to a branch near you!

The clock is ticking on the ultimate town-wide scavenger hunt of the summer! If you’ve been tracking down Adrian the Water Drop across Midland, it’s time to wrap it up.

Collect your final stickers and turn your Passport in by tomorrow, July 31st by 4 PM at HQ (Canadian Museum of Water inside the Midland Cultural Centre) to qualify for the August 1st 2 PM draw and your shot at the $4,000 Grand Prize Getaway! 🏖️✨
