Sainte-Marie among the Hurons was the 17th century headquarters for the French Jesuit mission to the Huron. Sainte-Marie is a nationally significant historic site with twenty-five reconstructed buildings that include barracks, a church, workshops, residences and Aboriginal shelters that illustrate life in a 17th community in Upper Canada. ling story alive. Site maps are available in 12 languages for international visitors to tell the stories in their own language.

Last chance for spring guided tours at Sainte‑Marie among the Hurons!

This is the final week to join one of our small‑group guided tours led by our expert historical interpreters. Explore Sainte‑Marie before the season officially begins and enjoy a more intimate experience of this National Historic Site.

Your spring tour includes:
• A guided walk through the historic grounds
• A fascinating introductory film
• Access to our indoor museum for deeper context
• Entry to Sainte‑Marie’s themed gift shop, Flint & Timber Co.
• Access to Restaurant Sainte‑Marie

Tours run Tuesday to Sunday until April 26. Tour times vary by date. Walk‑ins are welcome, and you can also reserve your spot on our website.
