Big news for June at Echo Dale! Our animals will be on site 7 days a week throughout the month of June. Come enjoy the farm atmosphere, visit the animals, and make some memories with family and friends.

If you are a school, daycare, dayhome, seniors group, church group, or any other organization looking for an interesting activity, we would love to host you for a guided tour.

Echo Dale Farm Corn Fest Announcement

We at White Barn Fun Farm, the organizers of the Echo Dale Farm Corn Fest, regret to inform you that this year’s event scheduled for Saturday Aug 23 has been canceled.

On August 20th, a terrible hail and windstorm swept through our farm here in Brooks, Alberta, leaving behind devastating damage including the loss of our Camel and Pony. Because of this, we are unable to host the Corn Fest.

We know how much this event means to so many families and our community, and making this decision breaks our hearts further.

Thank you for your understanding, and continued support as we work through this extremely difficult time.

🎶 Join us at the 2024 Echo Dale Farm Corn Fest for a special treat!
🎉 We are thrilled to welcome accomplished accordionist Lawrence, who plays a wide range of music.

Lawrence's band has entertained at dances hosted by the Moose, Legion, and Elks, along with numerous local events. He has traveled extensively, performing with accordion orchestras in Mesa, Vegas, San Diego, Dallas, Albuquerque, Branson, and Italy. Currently, Lawrence performs solo, as part of a duo or trio, and with the band Alpen Schatz.

Specializing in the music of the 40's big band era, classic country, old-time dance music, and hits from the 50's and 60's, Lawrence offers versatile entertainment for any event. We can't wait to enjoy his music at the Corn Fest! 🌽🎵

Little Pioneers Camp – July has officially wrapped up at Echo Dale Farm!

Our final Sunday was a true step back in time as campers explored pioneer life in the historic Woolfrey House, hunting for clues in a scavenger hunt inspired by the resourcefulness of early settlers.

They also crafted a whirly gig toy — a simple button and string invention that entertained pioneer children long before screens existed!

To cool off, we cranked up Echo Dales vintage ice cream machine and enjoyed the sweet reward of a job well done — just like families did on warm summer days, gathering and celebrating hard work with homemade treats.

And of course, there was plenty of animal interaction, just like a day on the homestead. From goats and sheep to alpacas and donkeys.

✨ Little Pioneers Camp Highlights – Saturday! ✨

Our young pioneers had a blast stepping back in time at Echo Dale Farm this weekend!

🔎 They kicked off the day mining for gold and diamonds—and boy, were they determined treasure hunters!
📖 They also learned what life was like for children over 100 years ago, from chores to school to good old-fashioned fun.
🔥 Next, they gathered around the forge for a live blacksmith demonstration and each received their very own handmade hammer, crafted just for them! (Shout out to our volunteer Blacksmith Ryan Page)
🧈 To top it all off, they made fresh butter and enjoyed every last bite with crackers. Nothing beats the taste of your own hard work!

Thanks to all our little adventurers for bringing the pioneer spirit to life. We can’t wait for Day 2! 🐴🌾🛠️
