For years we've been collaborating on making clay and silver earrings.

Since my pottery is primarily handbuilt with slabs, I tend to have offcuts that are already rolled out but too small for most other options.

I started rolling them out thinner, strengthening the clay and adding a texture, a hole and cleaning up the edges.

Tayte melts down his scrap silver in bars and rolls out many feet of wire and work-hardens the silver perfectly. I then turn a spool of wire into hooks for each pair.

They're one of our most consistent sellers and a place to explore glaze combinations.

We planted new fig trees to welcome people to the gallery and a customer who noticed and brought us a mini she grew from seed.
