The 2026 Summer Hours of the 1st Hussars Museum have now ended. Thank you to everyone who came to visit us since June, we hope you enjoyed your experience and will come back to learn more in the years to come!
If you didn't get the opportunity to visit the museum, do not worry. Check out our Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 Hours.

If you've visited the 1st Hussars Museum in the past couple of days, you may have noticed that some of our displays may look somewhat incomplete. This is because these items are on loan for this year's Airshow London weekend!

Join us at the 1st Hussars Museum on September 19th for Doors Open London, where we will be hosting upcoming singer-songwriter Laura Gagnon!
Laura Gagnon is a dynamic International Canadian pop powerhouse singer-songwriter and Chatham-Kent International Film Festival Best Music Video winner whose electrifying shows, kid-to-artist mentorship, Extreme Tour outreaches for the homeless, Vimy 100 performances in France, and signing to Grace Musicians Management Group light up stages worldwide. This is all crowned by her heartfelt anthem “In Our Hearts” sung by students at Australia’s Moss Vale High.
We are beyond excited to have Laura perform at the museum with our displays and guided tours. Hope to see you then!

Did you know the 1H Museum is pet friendly?
As long as they are on a leash and calm around other people, the 1H Museum welcomes all four legged friends of visitors to come and enjoy all of the local history we have to offer.
This is Mowgli, him and his owners visited the museum last weekend! They made sure to come see us before we close for the summer. Call or email to book a tour before August is over, or just drop by.

Save the dates! The 1st Hussars Museum is excited to welcome you for the 25th Anniversary of Doors Open London with the assistance of the London Heritage Council, also in line with London's Bicentennial.
Open since 1984, the 1st Hussars Museum is dedicated to the history of London's oldest cavalry regiment, founded in 1856.
Come visit us at 1 Dundas Street to learn about the 1st Hussars regiment, and enjoy some local music performances! Stay tuned to find out who will be joining us and when 👀👀👀.
