Homer Watson House & Gallery Homer Watson House & Gallery (HWHG) is a National Historic Site and former home and art studio of Canadian artist Homer Watson.

HWHG preserves and celebrates the legacy of Homer Watson through the appreciation, enjoyment and practice of the visual arts. Homer Watson House & Gallery is the homestead of Homer Ransford Watson, Canada's first noted landscape artist (1855-1936). In 1980, his house and surrounding 3 acre property were designated under the Ontario Heritage Act as being of architectural and historic significance.

Our mission is to preserve and celebrate the legacy of Homer Watson's creative spirit by stimulating the appreciation, enjoyment and practice of the visual arts. We engage the community through curriculum-based visual arts programs, exhibitions, maintaining and displaying Watson's permanent collection, special events, and other endeavours. These are limited time, limited space, private gallery bookings. Explore Homer Watson House & Gallery after dark! Groups get exclusive access to our gallery spaces and the Elm Studio for your use. We welcome spiritualist practitioners, paranormal investigators, or social groups. Bookings are available on Phoebe's Death Day, Mischief Night, and Halloween Night! 👻🔮
