One seed planted, a harvest gained." 🌻

I had the incredible honor of live painting at the Indo-Canadian Women Association’s IWD celebration. This year’s theme, 'Give to Gain,' resonated deeply with me. I chose the sunflower to represent the unstoppable energy we carry. In giving our light to others, we don't dim our own—we create a world that shines brighter.

In this video, I explore the theme "Give to Gain." I’ve always found the sunflower to be a powerful metaphor for this concept. A sunflower begins with a single seed, but it grows to produce hundreds more, standing tall and following the light.

As a woman and an artist, I believe that what we give to our community always comes back to us in the form of inspiration and connection. I hope this painting brings a little bit of that sunshine and energy into your day.

Late post, but a great memory! I had an incredible time with the youth wing at summer camp organize by Council of India Societies of Edmonton ,hosting an acrylic painting workshop. It was amazing to see so many young people create their own masterpieces. Even the first-time painters tapped into their inner artists and created something incredible.

Art provides so many benefits for youth, from boosting confidence to encouraging self-expression. We were so impressed by their creativity and so proud of everyone who participated!
A big thanks to CISE , Sasidevi and Digraj ji for organizing this event.

Happy Independence Day to all.
What an incredible experience teaching an acrylic paint workshop for a huge group of kids! Watching them create masterpieces with an independence theme was truly inspiring. Art is so much more than just a fun activity; it's a powerful tool for a child's overall growth. It helps them build confidence, express their creativity, and develop crucial problem-solving skills. A big thanks to all the young artists and Council of India Societies of Edmonton for organizing such a fantastic event. Special thanks to Sasidevi ji and youth wing volunteers for coordinating, preparing and supporting for this workshop .

What an enriching experience! I'm so thankful to the Youth Wing Council of India Societies of Edmonton inviting me to be part of their Professional Appreciation Day as an artist.
