Meet Jacquie Janzen

Jacquie captures the vibrant essence of floral arrangements through bold colour and texture, setting bright, expressive blooms against richly layered backgrounds. Her style blends abstraction and realism, playful yet sophisticated, with a palette that breathes life into every composition. Each piece is a joyful celebration of nature's beauty, full of warmth and vitality. We're lucky to have her work on our walls. Come see the colour and texture in person. Photos never do it justice.

Meet Claire Huguenot

Claire is a mixed-media textile artist inspired by the landscapes of British Columbia. Layering textiles, watercolour, and natural elements, she creates richly textured, three-dimensional pieces that capture the beauty of nature and the peaceful feeling of being immersed in it.

Largely self-taught, she turned a lifelong love of paper and textiles into a career and developed a signature collage technique built on transparency, luminosity, texture, and depth.

Each one-of-a-kind piece is handcrafted in her Richmond studio, drawing on the West Coast she loves, from beaches and forests to driftwood, shells, and nature's smallest details. We're lucky to have her work on our walls. Come see the texture in person. Photos never do it justice.

Meet James Howells

James is a self-taught metal sculptor who builds his work mainly from recycled and discarded materials. A lifelong creator, he came up through painting, woodworking, and model building before welding caught his interest, and he talked a family member into teaching him the basics (including how not to electrocute himself). His pieces started simple and have grown into elaborate, expressive sculptures, some now displayed in the Watershed Gallery. We're lucky to have his work on our walls. Come see it in person. Photos never do the detail justice.

Meet Eileen Fong

Eileen works in Chinese brush painting, a form she took up in 1994 and studied under several master painters. Her style blends traditional brushwork and fluid watercolour washes with a modern sensibility, capturing the grace of the natural world she loves. Each piece is a delicate exploration of nature's forms, rendered with the refined elegance of classical Eastern painting and a fresh, contemporary touch. We're lucky to have her work on our walls. Come see the brushwork in person. Photos never do it justice.

Meet Holly Egan

Holly is a colour lover through and through. Over many years as an artist and designer she's worked across everything from jewellery to painting, with pieces in watercolour, acrylics, and alcohol ink. A love of nature runs through her work, and she leans into vibrant colour on purpose: she believes bright, nature-inspired art can give viewers a real sense of well-being and feel welcoming to everyone. We're lucky to have her work on our walls. Come see the colour in person. Photos never do it justice.

Meet Elisabeth Czerwinski

Elisabeth paints in watercolours, working from her own photos and en plein air. She's drawn to the small moments of beauty in everyday life: walks through Burns Bog and along the Fraser, time with family, and her beloved animal companions. A career artifacts conservator, she's always made time to create something every day. Come see the colour and detail in person. Photos never do watercolour justice.
