SESSION IS FULL!

Would you like an introduction to to the skills depicted in the work of art below? This fall, Julie Mosgrove will be offering a Rug Hooking Workshop! It will be on Saturday, October 17, from 1-4 pm. Space is limited to a maximum of 6. Participants need only purchase the kit that they will use that day. A small kit is $25 and a large kit is $35.

Julie Mosgrove came back for a second visit today - and look what she brought!
You may recall that she offered to finish a forty-year old hooked rug that had been at our museum. The brin that it had been on was so brittle it was falling apart. Julie crafted an entirely new one, hooked it and finished it - as well as found a perfect piece of driftwood on which to hang it!
The craftsmanship is exquisite. Julie is a master rug ho**er, and we are so grateful and proud to have a piece of her work in our Museum. Thank you Julie!

The last day of August brings us to the end of our summer season! Thank you to everyone who visited our museum, followed us here on Facebook, came to our events, and supported us with their time, their talents and their treasures! We have had a hugely successful season with so much positive feedback, and we are grateful for all of you!

We have had a fantastic summer season at the Museum, and these two young people were a big part of that!

Lauren and Rebecca will finish their summer work with us on Saturday. We would like to thank them for their hard work coiling rope, fixing barrels, and mopping floors - in addition to all their official work of greeting visitors, doing guided walks, and being overall wonderful hosts and representatives!

We hope they enjoy a few days before they return to their studies! All our best wishes!

☀️LAST CALL this SUMMER ☀️- GUIDED WALK ON THE BEACH!
Join us at the Museum first, then we will take you along key points of interest of the lovely beach. 11 am is the start time for the morning walk; 2:30 pm for the afternoon walk. Free! No RSVP required

WHAT A (TEA) PARTY! Thank you to everyone who came out to share the afternoon with us and support our Museum. It was lovely to see everyone and we hope you enjoyed the tea, treats and tunes! Special shoutout to Derrick and Kayla for the music!
