I was pleased to see visitors from outside the Province like a 95 year old from Bahamas and two young people from the Community who commented that they were not aware of the Museum from when they attended Templeton and Grenfell.I approached both institutions about the Museum and educators should know what’s history and culture institutions are available in their communities especially Bayofislands. No MP MHA or Senator or leadership from Qualipu has visited the Museum. This is appalling given the significance of history and culture to the education of our youth and people about their heritage and past. I disappointed about the lack of support for our heritage and culture and should be proud to visit this museum.

I am pleased after a long illness and surgery that the Olde Brake House is open from 2 to 4 everyday or by appointment. This is great opportunity to visit an indegenious museum and experience a local perspective of First Nations cultures and history of the Bayofislands. The Museum is located in the Town of Meadows 20 minutes from Corner Brook.
