Museum Interpreters welcome visitors and give demonstrations in the homes, businesses and shops. Popular stops include the blacksmith, the print shop, the Indigenous Learning House and the General Store

Honour and recognize tomorrow, June 20 and join us for a free community celebration at Civic Square (6100 Willingdon Ave). From 1-5 pm explore an Indigenous artisan market and a variety of performances like dance, modern and traditional music, spoken word and storytelling. Our team will be onsite, come by and say hi, and try your hand at playing Indigenous Games!

Explore "delecTABLE: Burnaby Food Journeys" inside Stride Studios. The exhibition explores the many food cultures in Burnaby, including the traditional and contemporary food of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) Peoples. Be sure to read Marie Phyllis Johnson's (Stó꞉lō/Sḵwx̱wú7mesh) story in the exhibit (pictured above).
