Beaver and over 50 species of fish native to the St. We have several replica ships and wrecks that are found in the St. Lawrence river, as well as amazing experiences such as green screen adventures and a salt water tank! We seek to rekindle a passion for learning and engage visitors in the distinctive history, culture and environment of the 1000 Islands.

Now's your chance to become a volunteer community scientist and help make a difference for our river! 📣💧

On June 4th, the St. Lawrence River Institute will be here at the Aquatarium to lead an interactive workshop. During this 90 minute workshop, participants will:

🌊 Learn about the significance of volunteer-led water monitoring
🙌 Receive hands-on training on water quality testing
📲 Learn how to upload results to the Water Rangers open-data platform
🧪 Borrow a water testing kit to monitor the water quality throughout the summer
