Brandon, you don't look a day over 144 - well, maybe 1 day older, considering yesterday was your birthday!!

It was on May 30, 1882 that Brandon was offically declared a city. Having spent no time as a village, town or hamlet. Here are some wonderful photos from Brandon's early days.

Keith from the Brandon General Museum and Archives will be back at Shoppers Mall Library Branch on June 20! Drop-in to learn about local history during this fun Storytime alongside Miss Michelle. Starts at 10:15 AM!

The Downtown Brandon pickle parties of the past were really something special. We have been getting a lot of suggestions for what sort of entertainment to bring back to the 2026 Brandon Brine Bash -- from the pickle costumes, local live music, the skate jam, canning competitions, and even the rat race.
