It’s 22,000 sqft facility is located in the heart of downtown Brandon, situated between Regina and Winnipeg. Each year the AGSM receives over 20,000 visitors to experience the best in contemporary art exhibitions, education, and events. The AGSM’s programming places an emphasis on contemporary art by regional, national, and Indigenous artists.

🦞 Peripheral Beings by Jude Griebel is opening SEP 3 at the AGSM!

Jude Griebel's Peripheral Beings is an immersive collection of sculptures and drawings that draws upon our cognitive dissonance when transforming living animals into consumable species. Peripheral Beings is displayed in the AGSM's Main Gallery, where the exhibit's material crafting and fantastic nature encourage active engagement with, and reflection on, uncomfortable topics and complicities.

The Opening Reception is Thursday, September 3 from 7:00 PM to 10:00PM.

We're Hiring! 👔 Daytime Gallery Attendant (Part-Time, 32 hours/week)

The Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba is seeking a Gallery Attendant to cover daytime opening hours. Responsibilities include opening tasks, reception duties, data entry, filing, and correspondence. Attendants also assist with patron inquiries, class registrations, and work in the gift shop. The daytime attendant will assume responsibility for Gift Shop Merchandising and daily till reconciliation.

The ❄️Gala of Gifts❄️ has been an annual holiday fundraising event for Brandon and the AGSM since 1988, featuring fine art to local crafts from the Westman area and beyond! Celebrate the holidays with us on Saturday, November 28th at the Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba from 10AM - 5PM!
