As a kid, Phil thought he'd like to do carpentry and joinery, but was talked into becoming a Maths/Science teacher. However, his interest in woodwork continued and in his backyard shed, he learned as he went, making kitchen cabinets and pieces of furniture for his family.

Joan handcrafts translucent porcelain lamp shades that turn light into a gentle sculptural element—each one unique, each one glowing with quiet strength.
Her pieces enrich and warm any interior, and we’re delighted to now have them in store.
