A little glimpse into my own space this weekend…

I felt the pull to create something just for home — something quiet, moody, and grounding. A piece that mirrors those slow, in-between moments… when the sky is heavy, the world softens, and all you want to do is curl up on the lounge with a book and disappear for a while.

This one wasn’t about outcome or selling — just about feeling. About creating a place you can mentally wander into, even while you’re sitting still.

Have you brought a project across the finish line?

Sometimes the early layers look… questionable 👀
But that’s the magic of painting — it never looks pretty at the start. It’s messy, awkward, full of “is this even working?” moments.

And then comes that layer.
The final pass where everything clicks, the colours sing, and all those ugly-duckling stages suddenly make sense. It’s honestly my favourite part — where the hard work is done and I get to enjoy bringing the details to life ✨
