🌞 Emerging Artist Market happening now at Project Contemporary Artspace! 🌞

We are all set up at the gallery today! Emerging artists marketss- some stallholders are having their first ever stall today! Beacon of Hope Project have their sensory tent set up! ⛺

Come on down to find so many fabulous creations, original artworks, prints, crochet, jewellery, zines, stickers, books & more! So bring a picnic lunch, enjoy the sunshine and pop on down and enjoy the atmosphere! 🧺🌞🌈

✨️ Emerging - final weekend!

This weekend is your last opportunity to catch our 'Emerging' Members' Exhibition! You can come along on Saturday to enjoy the friendly atmosphere of our Market Day - Emerging Artists or on Sunday before the exhibition comes to a close.

We would love to invite you to our Market Day - this Saturday!

There will be original art, earrings, books, plants, stickers, zines, jewellery, totes, fandom art & more! 💫🌱🖌️

For this market we will be collaborating with Beacon of Hope Project! They will bringing along their fab sensory zone tent ⛺

So, bring a picnic along and enjoy the atmosphere of Project Contemporary Artspace!

🚗 There will be some on site parking available
🚶10 minute walk from Wollongong Station and we are close to the bus stop

This exhibition is a showcase of local young creatives ages 14-30 years old. We choose August for this exhibition as it coincides with International Youth Day- so no better way to show off emerging local talent!

We will be holding three different events throughout the exhibition:

🩵 Opening Night - August 14th, 6-8pm
Join us in celebrating the talented young people involved as we officially open the exhibition. Free Entry.

💜 Zine Workshop - August 15th, 12-2pm
Join Ivy as she teaches you about zines and how to make them. You'll create your own mini‑publication using collage, drawing, text and bold graphic textures! 📚✂️. Materials supplied. All ages. Free Entry.

🩷 Market Day - August 22nd, 10-4pm
10-4pm
You can expect to see many handmade goodies and artworks, such as art prints, earrings, upcycled items, plants, original artworks and much more. Beacon of Hope Project will be bringing along their sensory tent ⛺. All the artists are tagged- check them out! Free Entry.

We are looking forward to seeing you around the gallery throughout this exhibition and during our events!

🏅 Congratulations to the Member's Choice Award Recipient... Dale Middleby! For the work: ‘Third Day, Novel VI’
Dale has also won the Curator’s Choice Award for their work ‘Second day, Novel VII!'

❄️ Once again, a huge thank you to all artists involved in our mid year Hire-a-Wall!

We only have three more member's shows for the year so make sure to keep an eye out and get involved!
