Sea Urchin Candle Stick Holders ✨
$50 per set

Inspired by the Southern Sea Urchin, these pieces celebrate Aboriginal peoples’ deep connection to marine ecosystems 🌊. For thousands of years, coastal communities have sustainably harvested and honoured the ocean’s resources — a knowledge carried forward in art and culture today.

An ocean scene showing Australia’s native jellyfish: Jelly Blubber, Box Jellyfish, and Mauve Stinger. The Mauve Stinger jellyfish is bioluminescent, meaning it glows in the dark when agitated, and can give a nasty sting. The Jelly Blubber is a common and although it’s almost harmless, you still shouldn’t touch this jellyfish. While the Box Jellyfish, although small, holds the title for the most dangerous jellyfish in the world, and has 40 stingers. Jellyfish are beautiful creatures with dainty movements and exquisite colours, however, they hold a reputation of being dangerous and not to be touched. Also incorporating the indigenous culture through dot painting in bubbles. Jellyfish were the perfect inspiration for the ‘Girls’ sign.

🎨✨ Hornbag of Fountain Gate ✨🎨

This piece was inspired by the iconic Australian comedy Kath & Kim. In the season 6 episode Roots, Kath uncovers her family’s Indigenous ancestry. While the storyline is laced with humour, it also highlights how identity can be explored and expressed in unexpected ways.

This artwork reimagines Kim with a bold, faceless portrait style — allowing the viewer to project their own interpretation. The background uses dot work to reflect connection, culture, and individuality. 💜

📏 20cm x 30cm
💰 $100

This show has always held a special place for me, and this painting is a playful yet meaningful nod to the different ways Indigenous identity is presented in everyday Australian culture.
