Dear Member,

Just a friendly reminder that the Spring Members' Exhibition Forms are due on the 21st of August by 5pm.

Delivery of works to Culliford House on Sunday 30th August, 9am to 4pm. Entry Fees are due on that day and can be cash or by Eftpos.

The Official Opening and Awards will be on Saturday 5th September at 2pm.

What a wonderful opening day! 💚🧵🎨

The gallery was filled with laughter, conversation and a wonderful sense of community as artists, their families, friends and art lovers came together to celebrate the opening of Costume by the Darling Downs Textile Artists and Aspects of Green by the Drawing and More Group.

It was a joy to see so many people admiring the artwork, sharing stories, talking about art and catching up with one another. The room was buzzing with creativity, friendship and celebration, making it a truly memorable afternoon.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended and supported our artists. Your encouragement and enthusiasm made the opening a wonderful success. We hope you’ll visit the exhibitions if you haven’t had the chance yet—they’re well worth seeing!

While not everyone made it into this photo, every member of the Drawing and More group contributed to making this exhibition so special. On a busy opening day, gathering everyone together for one photo is almost impossible. Thank you all for your friendship, creativity and support—you are all an important part of our wonderful group. 💚
