Introducing Erik Pobucky for The One.

Working across painting, film, music, and street art, Erik Pobucky explores the tension between opposites — love and hate, beauty and decay, light and darkness. His work sits in the space between experience and imagination, drawing viewers into layered visual worlds where hidden forms, shifting memories, and emotional fragments begin to emerge.

Through expressive and psychologically charged paintings, Erik challenges the idea that beauty can exist without contrast, creating works that feel both confronting and strangely familiar. Rich with symbolism and atmosphere, his practice is a powerful reflection of the emotional and instinctive connections explored throughout The One.

Introducing Jamie Elliott for The One.

For the past several years, Jamie Elliott has focused on creating abstract acrylic paintings built from simple geometric forms and bold, striking colour. Stripped back yet deeply considered, the work explores the challenge of communicating emotion, energy, and meaning through minimal visual language.

Prior to this abstract direction, Jamie exhibited figurative works and streetscapes throughout Collingwood — a history that still subtly informs the structure and rhythm found within the paintings today. Quietly confident and visually engaging, Jamie’s work speaks to the instinctive connections at the heart of The One.

Artists.

If exhibiting your work has been sitting in the “one day” pile… consider this your nudge.

We’re currently curating exhibitions at Gallery Unbound from August through to December, with opportunities remaining for solo shows, shared spaces, and curated group exhibitions.

This isn’t about needing to be “established enough.” It’s about creating work that connects.

The second half of the year is one of the strongest times to exhibit — more visitors, more energy, more collectors, more momentum heading into 2027.

We care deeply about showing work well, supporting artists properly, and creating exhibitions that feel exciting to be part of.

So if your work’s been quietly asking for more space lately… maybe listen to it.

Applications and enquiries are now open through our website.
