SEVEN ARTISTIC VOICES

🥳OPENING TONIGHT 🥳
Thursday, 30th April, 6.00pm - 9.00pm.

Sydney Artists Group is a loose affiliation of independent artists working across a range of contemporary visual languages and practices. United by a shared commitment to quality, authenticity, and professional presentation, the group has come together to exhibit their work collectively while maintaining the individuality of each artist’s voice.

Through this collaboration, Sydney Artists Group seeks to engage gallerists, collectors, and the wider art-buying public with work that is diverse, considered, and accessible, offering multiple points of entry into contemporary art.

Their exhibition 'Seven Artistic Voices', featuring seven members of the group, runs from April 29th to May 12th.

BANG BANG
Claus Stangl debut solo art exhibition

OPENING TONIGHT!!
6-9pm. Wednesday. 10 December.

"Claus Stangl's work does precisely what art is meant to do: it visually provokes, it asks questions of us, it is deeply personal to the artist, and yet taps into the nostalgia of a whole generation.
BANG BANG explores the motifs, cultural symbols and shared memories of growing up in the 80’s - distilled through the specific lens of Claus’ own recollections. Deftly utilising a wide array of media, it is clear the artist enjoyed the making of this show. This work is conceptual, cheeky and joyous in equal parts.
With his very distinct visual language of “loose realism” - which has seen his work recognised in multiple high profile art prizes - Claus does not go softly. By design his work is high impact, alive, and very effectively halts you in your tracks. Claus knows exactly what he is doing here."
- Amber Creswell Bell

GALLERY OPEN 10am-4pm. 11-14 December.

HOLIDAY HUES
Justin Sayarath Solo Exhibition

OPENING TONIGHT! – Thursday, 4 December 2025
6 – 9pm

“Colours and shapes make a more definite statement than words.” – Georgia O’Keeffe

As I wandered through all kinds of landscapes, I trained my eyes to see beyond the ordinary, allowing vibrant hues and striking forms that seem to say more than words ever could.

From sunlit beaches where golden sand meets turquoise water, to the rugged hinterland with its ghost gums and deep red earth telling the stories of an ancient land – every scene stirred something within me.
The calm of small coastal towns, the steady rhythm of waves on rocky shores, and those unforgettable outback sunsets – splashes of ochre, pink, and fading light – wrapped me in a sense of quiet and reflection. Picking up oil pastels again felt like returning to something I had misplaced but never really lost. Dragging rich pigment across raw linen became a way of catching moments fast – filling space with colour, energy, memory and feeling. In that vivid, slightly melancholy process, I found myself again: grounded, curious, and quietly in awe.

Through this lively yet slightly nostalgic process, I found a renewed sense of grounding and wonder – a peace and clarity I didn’t realise I had lost in the madness of everyday life.

Holiday Hues is my first collection shaped entirely by the places and spaces I’ve wandered through, both close to home and far beyond.

Large portions of the Holiday Hues series has been selected as a finalist in multiple prolific art prizes throughout 2025.

A luminous journey through love, loss and the spaces in between.

Percy Bysshe Shelley’s haunting The Sunset, set to music by Ottorino Respighi, forms the heart of this intimate new work, a deeply personal exploration of love, grief and memory, told through music, movement and light.

Shadow puppetry, contemporary dance and recorded voices from across Australia intertwine with Respighi’s score, reimagining Shelley’s gothic poem for a modern world. The result is a quietly powerful meditation on the universality of longing and connection.

Created and performed by pianist Nathaniel Kong, dancer Mia Rashid, designer Jacqueline Chapman and mezzo-soprano and shadow puppeteer Spark Sanders Robinson, In the Presence of Light blurs the line between concert, installation and theatre piece - an experience for the open-hearted and opera-curious alike.
