In Coming Home, Gawura explores his intimate connection to Stanthorpe and the enduring legacy of his Grandmother, Ellen Ahoy.
Gawura's works have been exhibited across Australia and internationally — from the Louvre in Paris to Monat Gallery in Madrid. Don't miss this one!

We’re excited to share that the Stanthorpe Pottery Club is presenting a brand-new exhibition at the Stanthorpe Regional Art Gallery!

Earth and Inspiration celebrates the creativity of our members, featuring a beautiful collection of both functional and decorative ceramics. Each piece reflects the diversity of styles, textures, colours and ideas that come from working with clay.

Earth and Inspiration - showcases works by members of the Stanthorpe Pottery Club, featuring both functional and decorative ceramics.

The exhibition celebrates a rich diversity of craftsmanship, colour, texture, form, and creative ideas. To paraphrase potter Toshiko Takaezu: “...every piece carries the memory of its making.”

The Club welcomes artists of all skill levels, honouring individuality in the ‘handmade’ - where perceived imperfections are true marks of authenticity and may become sources of inspiration to others.
